From the wild days of the 1920s and the dark days of persecution under the Nazis through to the different experiences in East and West Berlin, we will look at LGBTQIA+ experiences throughout Germany’s history.
- See the Tiergarten, which is the city's best known gay meeting spot, and visit the Memorial to the Homosexual Victims of National Socialism
- Follow the traces of Christopher Isherwood in Berlin, and discover the district of Schöneberg with Motzstraße and one of Berlin’s oldest gay and trans* clubs, the former Eldorado Café as well as Germany's first gay bookshop
- Hear surprising anecdotes about famous historical figures, including all the rumours surrounding the love life of Frederick the Great, and the life of the openly gay Nazi, Ernst Röhm
- End the tour at the Schwules Museum (optional visit after your tour)

We usually end the tour at the Gay Museum (Schwules Museum), so you can visit the exhibition there after your tour to round off your experience (Please check the museum's opening hours).
